Hey, yeah I had it. Didn't plan out as I wanted. Opponent changed, then the promoter lost his California Sanctioning, so we ended up fighting in the cage at his gym. Fight didnt' last long, I got single legged, I got half guard, then proceeded to take shots to the back of the head and face for about a minute till I tapped. He just had too dominant of a position on me and I had no answer for it.
Good learning lesson for me, my Jits just wasn't good enough and I lost due to it.

I see too many just not able to defend and that ends too many fights that way.

Who was it in the last UFC that got FUCKED UP but ended up taking the fight... green trunks is all i remember... THAT GUY had the skills to get out... he took solid blows and not once, even while going down to the ground, did he stop swinging back...
That guy gained a HUGE amount of respect from my end... his defense was just as on as his offense...Comment

It really fucking sucks to be pushed up next to the cage and no movement.
Since that fight was a smoker and wasn't sanctioned, I asked the promoter to rematch us when he gets the next promotion up and ready.
I've been working on alot of the weakness I showed during that fight.

Ive seen him in action plenty... and as I can see, his only vulnerability is the ground... he gives up his ankles and legs too freely....

sounds like you lost due to illegal strikes (back of the head) than lack of JJ knowledge?? surely he wouldnt have been able to get away with that in a sanctioned fight

Wanderlei Silva has a very solid ground game too, he uses it more for defence then offence that's it. Different tactics, but the skills are there.
And as far as ankle locks and knee bars, he defends them really well.

Actually Silky, Vanderleigh is a hell of a nice guy, I've met him a couple times. I always thought Jackson was #2 behind Silva, but he was struggling for a little while due to the dain bramage Silva put on him. Now that Silva is more or less shot Rampage is the muthafuckin man.

Yeah, he can fight...no arguements here. You know how you see folks from a distance or on tv and think man that guy looks like a fucking asshole deluxe. That's just what I see when I watch him in Pride. Of course some folks that don't know me may say the same about me...he's just that guy to me.
When was the last time Silva fought? He can't be washed up already? UFC just signed him and you know they are already planning a Rampage/Silva battle as soon as they can. I personally can't wait for it.
