Any other cool English Ganstar type movies ??

I fell in love with Guy Ritchies SNATCH (which kicked ass)... then I watched Lock, Stock, and 2 Smoking Barrels ... and that fucking ROCKED too!

I just watched 24 hours in London ... which was also very good ... i recommened it if you like the other mentioned movies.

But my problem is, I NEED MORE! what other movies follow the same basic story line of the crazy trash-talking brits who kill anything and everything in sight (anything directed by Guy Ritchie thatfollows the same story line ? )

Help ... I'm hurtin' over here

- Wes

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch both kick ass. I think those are the _only_ mainstream Guy Ritchie movies, and I have never seen anything else like them as far as British gangster flicks. You might like the British TV series Second Sight. No gangsters, but detective stuff.

Actually, I just remembered something! The guy who played "Dog" in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels is one of the main character in Second Sight. Also, Jason Statham (Lock, Stock and Snatch) is starring in that new movie "The Transporter".

No way dude, the new one is different fa' sho' but it was good...and I FUCKING hate Stallone. Plus the cameo by Michale Caine kicked ass.

West - You seen Trainspotting, right?

The Krays is based upon a true story...it's not as action packed as any of Ritchie's films but good.

some other good euro action/gangster type films.

La Femme Nikita

Killing Zoe

Trainspotting (Of course.)

I'll think of others later...right now my mind's drawing a blank.

I was wondering who that guy was! Now I remember! It should be good then.

I have to mention Trainspotting again. It's not a gangster film but it's done in a super cool british kinda way. Vinnie Jones also did a movie last year. I didn't get to catch it while I was over there last so I don't knowhow it is. It should be on video now.

Westin:

Before you see any of those go rent "Gangster Number 1"

The best UK gangster movie I've seen so far.

Also if you like these movies then also I recommend:

"Romper Stomper" - older movie with Russell Crowe
"Miller's Crossing" - older mafia movie with UK accents
