Question for anyone who can answer, what are .mfx files?? They for Mac's in Fincal Cut pro?? Just curious. So if anyone can answer me.. will be great.

You, or they are pretty screwed. That software hasn't been supported for years. Last I recall it could be manipulated with Adobe's "Serious Magic"

Quark Express is a graphical layout program that collects all the design elements for a DVD sleeve for example, into one file and final presentation. These elements include all the PSD files, text, and the UPC code for example. That's what my designer uses to design my DVD sleeves.
