Not really. But I do believe she killed her little daughter by accident, and is hiding it for everyone. I bet she came back from the restaurant to check on the kids. I don't know what to think but I do think that if they are basing it on a car they hired 25 days after it is suppose to happen I don't see how they were meant to transport her body in that car when the eyes of the entire world were on them. Something about what is happening today doesn't seem right. If they did it (I hope not) then I really highly doubt that they hung on to the body/evidence for 25 days when every movement around them was being followed.Comment

That woman make me sick. My gut tells me she did it - and its very rarely wrong. They are much to cool and calculated. And now they are officially a both suspects, they just flew back to England this morning. If my kid was missing, I would be a little more desperate and not 100% stone cold and relaxed like they are.
I believe they thought they would get away with murder for a long time, but now things are starting to heat up down there, they are running out the back door to get home.
Poor little kid, she didnt deserve this fate or this place in history. And I hope the rest of the family's kids are safe. The usual press frenzy and allegations - means little.
Sure, it is often people within families who commit murder/manslaughter of family members - whether intentionally or not.
They are still at the evidence-gathering stage after an evidence protection failure at the SOC, but obviously still trying hard on the forensic evidence side. Parents would normally be first in line as potential candidates and Dr McCann has obviously been looked at and pressured up with questioning. She has also given a fair number of interviews to press - and these will probably be studied in detail.
Odds on there are still plenty other avenues to follow up, not necessarily involving the parents - and not stuff the press would know about. Speculation and hypothetical possibilities mean little unless all facts are known - but bet there is plenty of that with the investigation team - anything could be possible.Comment

The McCann's galvanised a world-wide PR campaign to try and help find their missing daughter.
Now that both parents have been charged at suspects and have returned to the UK, they now say they hope the press will respect their privacy.
I very much doubt it.

My gut is telling me this latest stuff is a fix up...I am not one to trust people but something just doesn't feel right with all the way they are suddenly in the scope. Remember, that other guy is also an official suspect. So, unless they are in on it together (perhaps), I don't see how they were meant to have disposed of the kids body when everybody was watching their every move. As I said, the claims of DNA in the car they rented 25 days after she went missing are unexplained. DNA doesn't have to mean blood..she has been carrying the girl's toys with her the entire time, etc.
I do think that had they not been two doctors that left their kid alone in the room they would have been demonized by the British media. However, there is just something of a smell of police in Portugal stitching them up just to take the focus off their slow progress. Today I heard they are starting to look for a body. Um, she has been missing 100 days and you are just now looking for a body? You are just now finding 'DNA'?Comment

Do you think if they had killed their daughter, accident or not they would campaign like MAD for huge worldwide awareness? Would that not be stupid, "oh we killed our daughter lets get the whole world involved in this story..".
This whole thing wouldnt even have a quarter of the press it does if they didnt spend every hour campaigning for it, they are calm because they are both professionals who have to stay calm in their jobs and what good would crying like a little blubbering bitch on tv like most Americans do help anyway?☻Comment
