    California CCW license.....

    How difficult is it to get approved? I have heard LA is very strict on handguns in general?

                          Its -extremely- hard to get a CCW in the state of california. My dad had one because he owned a bail enforcement agency, and that was still a pain in the ass.

                              You pretty much have to prove you carry around insane amounts of cash or jewelry or something in order to have any kind of shot. California is about as Nazi as it comes when it comes to gun laws or self protection in general. No knives or batons or anything.

                              Good thing you can rely on the cops to protect you at all times.

                                          Exactly, it's an 8 hour class, sit through it and you've got yourself a permit. I don't like that they just dropped it though, used to be 16 hours and include a shooting test. The good places still make you shoot to get it though. California sucks for a lot of reasons like this.

                                                          They will let you spend all the money you can....Then tell you, you do not qualify for a CCW license. That is how they work in L.A.

                                                              yup! thats for sure, also if you do come by one it is only for 2yrs after u have spend almost 5 bills to do so.. oh n the doctors visit to see if ur sane.
