I've been told that the average woman may have many different bras, but they always resort to using the same 2-3 bras.

It is almost IMPOSSIBLE find a "good" bra! So you may go through 40+ of them before you find one you really like. Then you go and buy as many different colors as you can in the one you like
BUT, then there are "date bras". These are not practical, they aren't always comfortable, and they are usually a PITA to clean. But they look purty, are easy to remove, etc. so you have those too ;)
THEN you may have ONE that perfectly matches ONE really good shirt/dress/whatever so you keep that one around too.
I probably have 25 in my drawer and wear 3 on a regular basis

That's the truth, I found some that fit great so I got like 8 of them but they didn't last long. washing them kinda fucks them up. I have probs finding any of them that fit cuz I'm kinda busty as you know.

I swear I was out the other day and didn't even notice that an underwire had worked its way out and was sticking out of my shirt. If I could sell underwires that have gotten out of my bras, I'd be a rich woman

very true.. i have tons of bras but you have different catergories.. like your everday bra, sports bra, your night bra, and your special occasion bra and damnit I get pissed when I have to co-mingle them hence that's why I always do the 2 to 3..

That is more or less true for me and it is because while just about any bra I can find in my size (which let me say is better these days but is still hard to find) will look good and hold structure for a bit but it usually turns out that there are only a few that stay comfortable to wear in the long run. So, while the more elaborate bras may come out for under a nice dress, etc I will stick to the ones that are the most comfortable for daily wear. I like the way underwire looks but when I am doing much bending or reaching through out the day it can be uncomfortable and downright ouchy at times if you get poked under the arm by the stray end of underwire.Comment
