It has recently come to our attention that certain Merchants have attempted to use their Pure Vanilla account(s), in conjunction with credit cards, in a manner prohibited under the Pure Vanilla Merchant Agreement and posted Pure Vanilla Operating Procedures.
This has prompted Pure Vanilla to conduct an investigation of these violations, as the practices of these Merchants are considered a risk to Pure Vanilla and our Members. Pure Vanilla takes the welfare of its Merchants and Members in high regard, and any subversive activities to undermine this is a matter of serious concern.
All new Pure Vanilla accounts will be ACH funded and recurring billings only authorized through verified consumer checking accounts.
We appreciate your patience and support during this time and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. It is an unfortunate situation that causes for quick and effective handling, which we know you would understand.
IMPORTANT: All Pure Vanilla account holders (Members) are still able to redeem their cards at your Merchant site ? do not inactivate Pure Vanilla in any way. We continue to process payments made by Pure Vanilla account holders to our merchants. This matter only affects the opening and loading of Member accounts, not the redemption or use of Pure Vanilla accounts.
