and rom my experience working directly with talernt, they will get the PCRDNA test, which allows them to "work" for such a length of time, but meanwhile they fuck many people without protection AFTER having a test done.
never trust PCRDNA - i have seen porn girl get a PCRDNA result on Monday, and be fucking some guy with no test or protection Monday night, then back at work Tuesday morning with the PCRDNA test stating "i am clean" to work for porn movies.
happens every day in LA.
its very unsafe.

Umm no.. we get required testing every month for STD also. For the last 2 years. Gonnorea and Chlamidia.. excuse the spelling. And evry 3 month Syphillis. So not sure what you talkin about.
And yes STDs are still common. As common as cuts and bruises in a construction worker.Comment

AIM has received a call from the “straight to anal” gals and they are concerned about the onset of about 7 cases of rectal gonorrhea. AIM uses the PCR/DNA probe to detect Chlamydia/Gonorrhea in the urine. This is very specific to the urinary tract system and not systemically in other areas such as rectum, or throat. In order to detect gonorrhea in those areas we need to use a separate probe. So, if you are a female who is doing “straight to anal”, we highly urge you to let us know, because if you are not doing vaginal, our urine test will not detect Chlamydia/Gonorrhea in any other area. Ask for a probe!! If you have rectal Chlamydia or gonorrhea, it will go undetected and rectal bleeding or other serious infections may occur!!! If you are doing oral and no vaginal, we urge you to get a throat culture. Take the time to protect yourself and ask for a separate probe.

i havent been in the Valley in over a year, so things change. And the last year i was there i didnt work with talent, so these procedures and what they look for has changed.

from the looks of it i am correct, they offer HIV only tests.
I have NEVER heard of a porn shoot demanding anything OTHER than HIV test or the shoot was cancelled..., but this could be my experience only. Not all PCRDNA tests for *other* STDs. I was right. According to this AIM price list there are HIV only tests and HIV + GC which is Gonorrhea and Chylamdia. So the tests I referred to were the only required ones which is HIV only.

I admitted my error then showed proof of HIV only PCRDNA. That is what I was referring to. In my experience talent was only required to have HIV test. So run along...

AIM does several things.. one service they provide is testing talent for the adult industry, this test includes testing for HIV (pcr is the most accurate and detects the virus faster than any other testing method), gonorrhea, chlamydia and every 3 months syphilis. they do not test for herpes or hpv.

HPV vaccinations is defiantly a great medical breakthrough for women. Until recently the only way to test for HPV is by the yearly pap test, but this only told the gynecologist that their is "abnormal cells" present. Now women can get a dna test done for a more definitive result. Unfortunally their is NO test to detect this on men who are asymptomatic.Comment
