I saw it last night. I prefer the original although the more in depth backstory of the new one was pretty cool.

PS The Rush song in the movie was Tom Sawyer.

The best part was the scene 1 dialogue when all the couples in the theatre were laughing at the cheesiness ... then the brutality starts in and all the girls start elbowing their dates that it's time to leave.

If you want to see a differnce between a C movie and an A movie, watch the rob zombies cut which is not being shown in theaters. The version shown in theaters is horrible.
