AWE support is really cool do you have all the contact details as I did some work with them and their support was fantastic even though we had totally different time zones.

Know whats even more fantastic than their support?

On their sign up page, they do not let webmasters know that when they send a customer, they only get paid for the first 2 weeks of a user.

Now let me tell you the reason why thats really bad for rev share webmasters, with a simple list of 1 of my customers transactions (that I'm still getting paid for months later)

Customer #1
10/18/2007 11:08:14 AM Membership $1.00 - initial sign up
10/18/2007 03:10:17 PM Site Spending $25.00
10/18/2007 03:10:35 PM Site Spending $25.00
10/18/2007 04:08:52 PM Site Spending $25.00
10/19/2007 08:08:09 AM Site Spending $20.94
10/19/2007 09:08:21 AM Site Spending $25.00
10/19/2007 11:09:26 AM Site Spending $40.00
10/27/2007 06:08:10 PM Site Spending $25.00
10/28/2007 01:08:08 PM Site Spending $30.41
10/31/2007 07:08:09 PM Site Spending $25.00
11/01/2007 02:08:10 PM Site Spending $1.21

^^ this is where AWE would have stopped paying me for this customer

11/06/2007 04:08:11 PM Site Spending $25.00
11/07/2007 10:08:10 AM Site Spending $19.90
11/07/2007 10:08:12 AM Site Spending $50.00
11/14/2007 12:08:10 PM Site Spending $50.00
11/15/2007 07:08:12 AM Site Spending $33.39
11/17/2007 12:08:13 PM Membership $1.00 - rebill
11/30/2007 06:08:11 PM Site Spending $50.00
11/30/2007 07:08:19 PM Site Spending $50.00
12/01/2007 08:08:09 PM Site Spending $50.00
12/02/2007 06:08:12 PM Site Spending $50.00
12/03/2007 12:08:08 PM Site Spending $50.00
12/03/2007 02:08:09 PM Site Spending $7.91
12/04/2007 11:08:07 AM Site Spending $50.00
12/05/2007 06:08:07 AM Site Spending $53.32
12/06/2007 06:08:21 PM Site Spending $50.00

So with this customer, i would have missed out (IF USING AWE) on spending totaling $590.52, so i would have lost (in my pocket) about $150 minimum if i was on a standard 25% payout with any other cam system.

I make most of my $ from clients after the first month....they step up their spending, they don't step down....EVER....

AWE such sweethearts : )

Oh & by the way...according to their terms of service....should a customer simply delete their cookies, using a common porn cache deleting program (that lots of married dudes use), if they erase their cookies on day 1....you only get paid for the sign up.

Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this is fucked up. But i think someone needs to constantly point shit like this out. It might not mean a damn thing to people like LiveJ who make 250k a period....but to people with fixed incomes, they could very well be losing a car payment a month to this little "pro-corporate bottom line" policy.

Fucked up.......

Or maybe I'm totally wrong & its just the way their system was written & theres absolutely nothing they can do about it.

Doubtful though...

You're exactly right, how many webmasters actually read the terms when they sign up to a new sponsor. Revshare has always meant "for the life of the customer" to webmasters when it comes to cams and AWE takes advantage of new webmasters by just calling their program "revshare".

Your stats clearly show the power of residual income in gaining a "lifetime" revshare customer, however some webmasters promoting AWE are still convinced they are making more with their 14 day revshare when in fact they are throwing money away month after month.

There system was obviously intentionally done in this matter to benefit their bottom line, not the webmasters who promote them. When they were called out for their 14 day revshare over a year ago, AWE's owner came on this board and told all of his webmasters they were lucky they were even getting paid for 14 days. Then when there was a backlash they came out and said they were working on a new system to extend the cookie, well needless to say that never happened.
