might be moving to Upper West Side so I looked at a few places on the Hudosn river and a few that are closer towards central park. completely different views....

I am even contemplating the move to Hoboken, NJ (its on the Hudson river as well). Commute to office in Woodbridge NJ would be about 10 mins to an hour less depending on traffic at the tunnel to get from NY to NJ lol....

I agree completely. I live a very short 2 blocks from Ocean Beach San Francisco. I try to take a walk out there at least once daily.

For me simply staring out at the ocean is a huge stress relief.

I loved having an ocean view, but yeah at night it's kinda boring, just a whole bunch of blackness. It still sounds cool though...

I guess the ultimate solution is a corner unit that has views of both :winkwink:

I know when we got together at my buddy's place for predrinks at night I was jealous of his awesome night time skyline view...
