Airline pilots should be equipped with taser guns

Safe for flight.

Incompasitating.

A thought I had. I dont believe this is practiced.

I have spoken.

Write a letter to your congressman.

Should just make all the towelheads wear termination bracelets/collars that can be remotely activated by the Air Marshal...

Don't quote me here well guess you can, but don't they output a large charge of voltage?? I know they do..... So wouldn't this possibly cause some major probs should they have to use them and miss and connect with something that may cause the whole plane to come crashing down???

I know it's a small possibility, but ya like to know...

No need for this if the plane has an unbreakable cockpit door. I think most US airlines have installed these since 9/11. Had they done it sooner, 9/11 wouldn't have happened.

You make a valid point.

Dont they only send voltage after they are shot and then the "voltage" trigger is pulled?

Train those bitches.

Just a thought I had...

My whole point to this idea was to eliminate the use of firearms. Firearms on an airplane bring on more risk than they deflect.

Think about it.

Would open the airlines to many lawsuits and require much more pilot training and guidelines. Basically its gonna cost too much, so they'll make the cockpit doors stronger instead.

Watch Loose Change, you will see that it would have done nothing of the sort.

After doing a little research I found an article from November 2004 saying that "the Transportation Security Administration of the United States Department of Homeland Security" had approved a major international airline's application for the onboard use of TASER brand conducted energy weapons by specially trained personnel on flights to/from the United States.

Not sure what happend with it all.....

All they need is two additional crew members. Security guards.

Thank you.

I don't know much about airline pilots, but I do know I want them focused on ONE THING: flying the fucking plane.

Should we also arm bus drivers and train engineers? If you have a security problem, you bring in someone trained in SECURITY. Stop watching so much goddamn TV and stop giving guns to everyone.

My point was to take firearms out of the system.

was a quick thought i had on the john.

Security guards do sound like a better idea. Thats would give a TON of jobs to people.
