Since Mac can run ALL PC software and ALL Mac software, I guess that makes it like 200%?

lol, you have to be seriously sick in the head to buy a mac - for real

on average its 10 times harder to find and replace a faulty part, it'll also cost you 3 times more than the same part on a PC

If you buy a Mac computer, then you are on your way to getting underwear for your iPod...

haha yeah, this shoulda been cited right off the start. my pc was bought piece by piece off newegg and built by myself. never had a problem with it once, though it really only is used for gaming. my mac gets all the "work" and internet use. but still, don't buy shitty computers and you won't have shitty problems. :thumbsup

Mac FTW

Been a long time PC advocate, but once I tried the new macbook I was hooked. They really have done an extroadinary job, and more and more software vendors are jumping on board to make NATIVE mac applications so we don't need to run them in parallels or other virtual machine systems. Any short coming with the mac has been solved by using coherence.

I could say more... but it's all about what you want. :2 cents::2 cents:

LOL, what a jackass. So when I go to the computer store there are two lines? 1 PC line and 1 for Mac, and the Mac one has pits, obstacles, fences, and rope swings before I get to the counter? Better parts tend to cost more, welcome to the real world, this logic applies to anything from cars to stereos. But have no fear, I have owned Macs for a long time, not one of them ever need any parts replaced and they all still run just fine.

Personally, I use Windows Server 2003 on my computers.

Best OS Microsoft ever made, IMO.

DirtyDanza 08-27-2007 09:21 AM

I agree with people saying that " buy a mac it runs windows" is about the dumbest thing ever..

I got a mac.. and I am running mac osx I love it so far... yes there are a few programs that do not run on macosx but they have programs to take the place of it...

honestly the way the programs load and work on this machine is much smoother than my windows machines... and less lagg and dragg while rendering photos, movies ect ect....

but to say buy a mac it runs windows although neat it not a good selling point because most people who buy macs are sick of windows... like me....

now I am converted

pixiewillow 08-27-2007 09:39 AM

Why would you buy a computer at Circuit City?

Angie77 08-27-2007 09:57 AM

Really? Strange. I've heard such good things about Vista!

BuggyG 08-27-2007 11:12 AM

saw an ad back a couple months ago
XP SP2 professional was selling more then Vista
forgot which version.. maybe just home basic, but I'd still go for XP

beemk 08-27-2007 11:19 AM

diehard mac users are more annoying than the religious freaks on the streets that hand out pamphlets and try to convert you to christianity.

Umm yes you are. One of the more ignorant people on the board in fact.

i swear this is no joke ... all the sales men where dealing with past customers complaints about the computer they bought with vista

this is such a joke

I see lots of XP owners making this claim... yet I never see it myself.
Odd.

Almost all Vista "problems" are user error or 3rd party software problems with vista, neither make vista "suck" though.

abdulzabak 08-27-2007 12:49 PM

anyway buying Mac makes you "IN" (you also need at least one iPod and one iPhone), if you don't have that, you're fucking old shit.

Well I prefer to be fucking old shit. Don't feel enough iCool...

ADL Colin 08-27-2007 01:09 PM

I have an Imac and a PC. No preference for one over the other.

Didn't get vista yet though.
