I remember reading about that in Fast Food Nation. That was a BIG turning point for them.

Well, it allowed them to start hiring women for one thing as labor laws prohibited letting them carry the big bags of potatoes, so they could not work there.

As far as the quality is concerned, I think it really went down.

When I worked there, there was a Jack-in-the-Box next door. People might go there for a burger and shake, but most walked over to McD's for their fries.

They were the best anywhere.

I'm having a hard time seeing baddog behind the counter at McDonalds. Is it just me?

I've seen you on motorcycles (in pictures), in group shots, on banners and in signatures; I even saw you at the Vegas Players Ball this year, but I can't seem to see you in a McDonalds uniform no matter how hard I try.

haha, I am sitting here trying to remember what our "uniform" was.

As I recall, it was a white shirt with dark slacks. Maybe a paper hat. Too long ago.

I worked at a great store. It was company store #13 and we tried to live up to the #13.

You guys wouldn't believe some of the stuff that went on. Good times.

Honestly, the places that use real potatoes for their fries don't taste that good. In & Out's fries taste like shit IMO.

Not sure if you guys have Steak Escape where you live, but their fries are the best EVER and they use real potatoes, but they fry them in some special sort of oil I think.
