wacom tablet users
I have a off brand tablet that I've used off and on. It's a aptik but it's the 12"x12" model, so it's rather big and takes up too much desk space.
I want to switch to a wacom but don't want to buy a 12x12 so I'm wondering if any of you use the 4" x 6" model and if so is it big enough?

depends on what you are going to use it for. 4 x 6 is too small for illustration, but usable for photo retouching.

my hub has one and he usues it more than his mouse, he likes the size cause he can get as much done without taking up the desk space the 12x12 one did.

I don't do illustrations as in cartoons or anything, but I use it for web graphics and so on. Used to use it a lot for 3d stuff as well. I like the one with the LCD screen that you draw right on the screen. Would be bad ass if they made a more portable version of that set up like a laptop. That way it wouldn't take up all your desk space.
