sadly i wish my mission was so glorious. awareness is the mission.

repetitive actions to boost awareness and call to action.

i still have the program to finish. thats why i have 3 machines in my office. one laptop for promo, one for content, one for working on the new shanes world.

they are tired of content theft and so are many other studios.

again, this is not my crusade. thanks for the credit though, i will pass it on to those behind this.

As Ive said repeatedly.. Sharing will not be stopped. The only way to stop it, is to stop it from being stolen to begin with. And that will only slow it down. Right now its just too easy for full site rips, and download full movies from paysites. The change starts at where its going out the door, and will have to be implemented industry wide. It will force the surfer to change what they are used to in member area content delivery..

i dont think anyone disagrees with slowing the theft at the source.

how do you propose to stop the dvd ripping and uploading. there is NO way to stop that.

This is a problem for the adult industry? Na, not really. Just like VOD sites that offer DRM, they don't have problem with torrent sites.. even though you can copy what's playing on your screen. Any type or level protection is enough to stop it.

the average surfer has no idea this kind of stuff even really exists. usenet was distributing pics and sometimes movies (due to low bandwidth not so much) before paysites even existed.

As I said you "can't" stop it only make it harder for them. The dvd market is the problem of the dvd distributors. I dont have anything to do with that, so I havent put any thought into it. As Ive said before right now the front door the the liquor store is swinging wide open and no one is stopping people from stealing the rum.. (for online sites) The percentage of dvd rips online is a lot lower. Most of the scenes from dvd come from paysites that licensed the dvds and didnt try to safeguard their investments..
