TGP won't renew my partner account because my 404 leads to a free site....

I've been submitting for a long time and I really find it hard to understand this rule....

my 404 leads to a tgp and they don't sell account too feed my free sites so to speak.....

mind you no links go to 404...its just when you go to 404 on purpose you get redirected to a free site.

so what do you think about this rule? ever heared about it?

Their TGP, their rules.

Take a hint though. To me, it sounds like they're using that excuse because they just dont like your galleries.

My opinion is that you can do whatever you want with your 404... unless it was popop hell or rogue codec install... if you send your traffic to a clean site I see no problem.

This TGP guy clearly went overboard.

The surfer IS NOT supposed to get a 404, if he chooses to enter random url's, it's his fault, not yours. This is in now way a traffic leak.

same goes for the tgp owner he can sell his accounts to whomever he wants and make whatever rules he wants as it is his site setting the rules and not the submitter directing the rules.

The Hun can ban your domain if your 404 doesn't go on a 404 page...

No reason to have a 404 period.. I'd ban it

Some TGP's have archives, by having the 404 this leads to trouble down the road... These are usually cheated with redirects

you can have a 404 on the domain site, just remove it from the gallery directories..
