Still looking for that unique or interesting use for the first contest.

Here's the second contest

Tell me the company that would benefit the MOST from Feed Pushers, and why.

Free copy of Autoblogger Pro Stand Alone to the one I like the most.

I can't think of anyone who would not benefit from morphing feeds except the the sponsors who use only 10 - 12 words of textual content.

Feed Pusher, no matter how good it is, still needs something to work with. I looked at some feeds today that had nothing but a title and one image. Pathetic.

I'd do well with a copy, as I have some clients that would be more than happy to buy some copies if I told them this was the 'candy store'...really curious about your feedpusher thang. If you can truly keep the dup-content boogie man away that's worth it's weight in gold...esp if it reads and presents/sells authentically.

Actually, that's not entirely true! :winkwink: Since we not only morph the feeds but WRITE THEM TOO, they can actually have totally shitty feeds and come out with amazing feeds immediately.

How can you morph 10 or 12 words? Unless they're all nouns? I clearly understand how to create text with one or two nouns. But, the odds of it matching what's on the other side of the surfer link are slim.

everett 08-18-2007 05:06 AM

I know nothing about blogs and I'm ready to learn.
I'm appealing to the soft warm place in your heart.

How about a copy for me!

Beejeebers 08-18-2007 06:42 AM

I think you should give all three copies to Ice.

You aren't understanding.

We're a SERVICE, not a product.

We completely write the descriptions. If they have crap, or even NO words, we completely rewrite them from scratch, THEN morph them.

Not understanding something is not that unusual for me.
Some days are bad, other days are worse :winkwink:

I assumed you were using some rendition of pseudo AI to create the content. It's so rare I encounter hands-on human intervention with intangible services I jumped to an unwarranted conclusion.
Sorry edgeprod ... no harm intended.

So Feed Pusher supplies not only keystrokes (physical labor) but a creative thought process (mental labor) dictating which keys to stroke. Plus the morphing feature.

Is that a fair assessment in '25 words or less'? Do I understand the basics?

Correct.

1) A human creates the content.

2) A computer decides how to best morph this content when an affiliate pulls it.

:thumbsup

I wish that something like Feed Pusher was used by companies doing employment ads online here in Australia. Apart from the constant incorrect spelling (what the fuck is a sever administrator engineer) and shitty grammer (you just know the writer was hired for their looks and not their writing skills); they would greatly benefit from a service that rewrote their ads and included vital information such as a general location, nearby public transport, and hey maybe actually including some description as to what the role will involve would be fucking fantasic.

/rant

That said, a copy of ABPSA would help me make enough $$$ to not have to worry about finding a shitty job, or going to another bullshit interview where they lie about the position and it turns out you are doing call-center work :disgust

First copy is going to go to the poster who has the best or most interesting idea of what to do with it. Here's the rules:

1) You have to actually do it. You'll be making a thread to track your progress. You have 30 days from when you receive it.

2) It has to be legal -- no ripping off every feed out there or promoting donkeys humping midgets.

3) I'll judge who has the best or most interesting idea.

I'll think of something else for the next copy. I'll check back tomorrow to see what everyone has come up with.

Here's something groundbreaking for you:

I'll make the thread within two days of getting it, smack it on a random domain... and do nothing with it. Now, I know what you're thinking; that's far too revolutionary for me!

I know, I know - viva les resistance and all that crap, but if you bear with me, I just might be able to confuse you long enough to swindle a free copy in exchange for me shutting up.

loreen 08-19-2007 06:36 AM

edgeprod, I've contacted you on ICQ :)

Er, not QUITE the project I was looking for ...

... in fact, no one has come up with anything quality for either of the two ways I've already announced to give away a copy.

I'll give it another day, and then do something else, I guess. :upsidedow

Dagwolf 08-19-2007 08:23 PM

One copy left?

I'd look on what people are searching... (just type "how to" in google toolbar)

I would gather information about various subjects, take the time to rewrite them well and even manual tweaking, I'd make ebooks with links to my sites / affiliate programs, etc.

Then I'd give them for free/sell them on ebay (0.1$), put on torrents, make seo pages about them.

loreen 08-19-2007 11:40 PM

This is kind of inspired from another GFY thread.

I would give 3 ABSA copies to 3 webmasters and I would make a blogging race. Some rules and limits for all of them, the obligation to talk (on forums) about what they’re doing and how ABSA helps… and the rest is fame and good publicity :)

After one month, the one who made more money / traffic wins.

loreen 08-19-2007 11:48 PM

I would use Feed Pusher (or even the rewriting tool from ABSA/ AB) to make an essay site for high school / university students.

For a monthly subscription / pay per download fee they can have the essay they need, uniquely written.

Let’s not underestimate the power of laziness :)

Cradle 08-20-2007 05:01 PM

gimme a free one, i wanna test it :)

TheJimmy 08-20-2007 07:27 PM

As for a test run I have a very simple yet interesting test of it's powahs...

1) send me the copy already

2) buy a blogwhatever.com domain

3) build a keyword list of the top competitors of this script

4) see how many of the top positions can be taken over

Ground breaking eh?

I'll even spring for the domain & hosting cuz I got mad skillz y0 :pimp
