I'm with Juicy on this one. I know he tried to get them to drop the torrents.

I say FUCK YOU to Flesh Light. I read your weak statement here about how if it is legal content on a torrent you will allow it. LOL Dumb asses.

VicD 08-18-2007 02:51 AM

about 1500 posts to go, Juicy...

am I too late for this? Please tell me I'm not

Looks like the shit is over, here's the email they sent to there affiliates

Subject:New Torrent Policy

Dear Affiliates,

Fleshlight is no longer accepting ANY torrent traffic. Several torrent
sites have assured us that they are DMCA compliant but due to little or no
enforcement of these policies, we can NOT accept any further traffic from torrent
sites. This is a new policy update and is effective immediately. If you have links
or ads on torrent sites, you will need to remove them within 72 hours and failure to
comply will result in a suspension of your affilate account with FleshlightCash.

Sincerely,

The Fleshlight Team

They will be called out on it pretty quick if they don't, lots of gfyers are monitoring torrent sites now, I'm sure if someone see's a fleshlight banner on a torrent site, someone will post about on here

I hope they stick it too:thumbsup It would be great too see the dating industry do the same, though I can't see that happening anytime soon, not without someone challenging one of them in court anyway.

Alot of people think the dating industry is part of the adult industry, its not, the dating industry is funding the death of the adult industry:2 cents:

For anyone to say that Juicy had nothing to do with Fleshlight's popularity is shameful. Yes, Fleshlight may have been around but:
1) They were a toy contraption that looked weird and spooky - not the 2nd thing that simultaneously comes to mind when you think 'sex toy' (which is what he made it become)
2) They weren't popular with webmasters and I don't care how you spin it, webmasters and affiliates are the frontline of the industry - if they aren't promoting you 'en masse' then you are losing out & he put them up front and in front of millions of horny guys' eyes.
3) Juicy's branding of the product put them on the map - they were everywhere - EVERYWHERE and if my memory serves me correctly, they even started having production issues (couldn't produce them fast enough for the demand) and backend issues - system couldn't handle the clicks/orders.

So whomever you want to give credit to - one thing is for sure, Juicy did bring them out there and gave them a solid tack on the map. Once Juicy was pretty much quiet about them - it kind of gave the impression that they were trying to maintain that traffic flow but failed cuz people distanced themselves.

I sure hope, should Juicy be offered anything to take it back to where it belongs, that they give him a good voting share, just so he doesn't get fucked by the wrong people making decisions that can/will cost him in the end. **None of my business but in case you're reading it Juicy**

Oh and there's no reason for me to kiss his ass - I never did business with Juicy :) That's my Canadian :2 cents: that sadly are now quasi equal to the US version of the :2 cents:
