Yup, ive watched that hundreds of times. Only movie that comes close for me is Glengarry Glenross, watched that a few hundred times also.

Bulworth (w/ Warren Beatty). Don't know why - but the crazy politics and soundtrack keep me coming back for more and more.

I can watch those over and over and over and over and over and still enjoy them every time

Office Space
Tommy Boy
True Romance

It's great to hear that there's at least one other Used Cars fan!

And while JASBSB is by no means a great movie, it's definitely a great repeating background flick.

A great movie. There's not enough good political satire around these days.

I vote for Bob Roberts... always makes me laugh till I'm ill.

Snatch.
Fight Club.
Seven.
American History X.

Good films all, and I agree that bogey and hepburn are fantastic BUT...

I don't think I could watch any of those over and over again. A few times over the course of a lifetime yes, but not HUNDREDS of times like the films people have been mentioning.

fear 09-08-2002 05:34 PM

No trying to diss you or anything but the thread is referring to films you can watch over and over again without getting tired of them. Can you HONESTLY say you have seen ALL of these at minimum 10 times and could sit and watch them another 100 times with no diminishment in enjoyment? Like I said, I'm not trying to be harsh but I just can't believe ANYONE could watch MIB2 more than a few times before it got old. Similar feelings about Mummy 2. Good flick but not worth watching more than a few times. The shitty computer graphics would piss me off after the 4th or 5th time alone.

:2 cents:

I got totally carried away lol. I think I have watched ID4 15 times or so.... I do watch some movies several times but you are right - not 10-100 times :)

Yeah that's like being trapped in hell... like Clockwork Orange maybe when your eyes are held open -- forced to watch... 10-100 times... well... no.

I'd take Taxi Driver off my list... I couldn't have said it better than this...

"The main flaw with this great film is the meaningless banter between Betsy (Cybil Shepherd) and Travis on their dates, and the ridiculous "insight" provided by conversations between Betsy and a co-worker (Albert Brooks is wasted in this role). Some meaningful moments occur during this time, though for repeat viewings, these scenes are too benign for the coarse action proceeding it."
