The judge said the abuser was unknown? Good god, what is he blind and deaf and dumb? Who could it be judge, who could it be? You had a chance to correct your error judge, and your answer is the abuser is unknown? Well done judge. Sleep good.

Being a father of kids that age I truly feel for that father.
I cannot accurately express the rage I feel for things like this. It is really a shock that it even happens.

I have a 2 year old son, and that video made me cry.

I would literally pull that man apart with my bare hands. Even facing life in prison, would go happy as hell knowing that he died with the same pain and torture that my child died.

I have 7 kids (8 on the way) and this hurts me down to my very core!! I wouldn't kill this dude right away. I would torture him for 9 months like he did my daughter. Everyday, I'd pour jalapeno pepper juice in his eyes and pour hot cheese on his nuts and then add rats in his cage so they could eat his cheese covered balls. Trust me, more stuff is running through my head but I better not say it here. Don't want to share to much.

Instead of prison they should drop that asshole and the mom off in the middle of Iraq or Afghanistan and let them fend for themsleves.

If whores don't want their kids then give them up, SIMPLE. Of course the thought of that welfare check is too strong for them to give them up.

Actually, Gator, it does happen; in fact there is a high-profile case in my county now where a 3yo girl was burned and beaten and had bones broken by the father's girlfriend.

That's not to say that it usually happens like that; it is unusual. But women can be every bit as cruel as men.

My 9-5 is involved in helping prevent this type of tragedy. If you really want to do something to prevent child abuse, donate to a prevention non-profit in your area. We need funds to serve at-risk families and without donations we struggle to meet the needs of these families. Educating and empowering parents to meet their children's needs safely can be done in most cases, and when it can not, in-home programs are commonly the first to identify that high risk home and report it to the authorities.
