I love that show but I can see why hardly anyone else did.

John from Cincinnati = JC = Jesus Christ?

Congrats on 1K, I didn't get that show at all myself. HBO isn't what it used to be.

Confused the heck out of me, too. Now, if they would make Entourage an hour-long program, that would be sweet. Flight of the Conchords is decent too.

Yeah - I heard about this on the radio this morning, and thought it was a good thing I never started watching the show...

Figured after Deadwood and Carnivale (both great shows prematurely cut down, imho), I'm going to avoid catching any of those shows for the first or second season, and wait until they pan out.

HBO has to come up with something. I'll download and buy the DVDs when they're released and cancel my subscription. I don't watch movies and with this being cancelled, Curb and Entourage aren't going to keep me subscribing.

Yea WTF is up with HBO anymore..

They have bad ass shows like Rome, Deadwood, Carnivale and they cancle them all.. The Sprano's I can understand, because it had run it's course.

At least they are doing a season 5 of The Wire. This flight of the concords isn't to impressive IMO. pretty stupid really.

Yep I think I'm about at that point as well. I like the Bill Maur show but it only lasts a few weeks each season and is over far too fast to keep me as a sub.

John From Cincinnati pissed me off so bad. But for some reason I'd watch it every week to see if I could figure out what was going on. It never made any sense. When it started making sense they would add new characters and make it even more confusing. I fell asleep durring the last episode so I didn't see what happened. Was John suppose to be Jesus Christ?

My new favorite HBO show is Flight Of The Concords. I hope that sticks around.

Is Rome going to come back?

HBO had their run. Now it's just Entourage ( which i think is one of the best series on TV right now) keeping them alive.

Showtime is coming up with the good shows now. Tudors, Dexter and now Californication with David Duchovny. i'll have to catch up the repeat of the premiere tonight. missed it yesterday. I've heard good things about Weeds as well, but haven't had time to watch that show.

Never really watched this show. My favorite show was Huff on Showtime but they canned that too. Thankfully when CBS cancelled Jericho enough people bitched and they are bringing it back.

No.. it's not. The last episode was the end of the series... and while I woulda loved to see another season, I have to admit that they did a good job of wrapping the plot up and keeping (generally) in line with the actual history of the whole era.

I found out just the other night over some dinner conversation that Pullo and Vorenus were actually historical figures, as well.

Good stuff.

Never could get into Rome..I guess too many movies out about the whole era made it boring as hell.

I love John from Cincinnati..too bad there are so many simpletons that couldnt figure out what was going on or liked the fact its confusing. I am looking forward to the last few episodes.

Yes. Big Love is awesome this season. Last year I thought it was kinda boring but this season they thickened the plot.

This past Sunday's episode was the season (er, now series) finale. That means no more new episodes to look forward to.

My friend was raving about that show a few weeks ago. I guess I am going to have to find it on the web to see for myself.

I enjoyed it even though it didn't make sense most of the time. I like weird shows/movies where you have to struggle to figure it out.
