there's nothing special about the way the site is coded, it's actually pretty simple. They are marketing geniuses, that's all.

College kids loved it and everyone else wanted in - but it was nearly impossible for anyone else to join... and just when everyone really really wanted to join it, they were allowed to

check out german studivz (www.studivz.net)... it's a complete facebook ripoff and they get away with that... it was sold to the holtzbrinck media group for millions... I don't get it...
