I've been a "Dirty Bird" for WAY TOO MANY years here in the ATL.
http://www.psychenoir.com/Images/dirtybirds_link.jpg After last season and what has happened during the off season I have finally switched my alliance to...... http://probullstats.com/pictures/reggieb.jpg http://artfiles.art.com/images/-/New...C10138738.jpeg _ |

Plenty of so-called 'powerhouse' teams also didn't pull it off. I did however see some signs of real strength and promise in their play. They could very well be the dark horse team to watch out for this year. |

I take it we won't be seeing you participating in any of the big NFL pools this year. :D |

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE RAIDER NATION! LOOK OUT AFC, THE #3 DEFENSE GOT EVEN BETTER! AND SINCE THE OFFENSE CAN'T GET ANY WORSE - I THINK WE'RE READY! I PREDICT 9 WINS THIS SEASON AND A SERIOUS CHALLANGE FOR THE #1 DEFENSE! AND A RUN BY SAPP AT THE SINGLE SEASON SACK RECORD! AND LIKE THIS POST # - YOU WILL SEE THAT NUMBER ALL OVER THE LEADING RECEIVERS STATS! .......`;] |

Go Blue!
I was born a Giants fan and always will be. Without Tiki and now possibly Strahan, I don't think I'll be making any Super Bowl plans. They were the offensive and defensive keystones, and without them there is a bit of rebuilding to do. Eli may mature into a great quarterback, but I'm not expecting much out of this season. But hey, that's the life of a Giants fan.

The guys you mentioned are all replaceable, whether anyone wants to admit it or not. The guy who steps in may not be "as good", or he might in some ways be even better, you never know. There are plenty of guys out there playing those positions who kick ass, I have no doubt the Giants organization is trying their best to fill their shoes. Teams have lost star players before and gone on to do great things, I wouldn't give up all hope just yet. Okay who are we kidding, it's the GIANTS, they're done for. :1orglaugh |
@CDSmith
I got that you were joking. Just adding my thoughts to the mix. And while the Giants may find replacements for Tiki and Strahan as far as ability, those two were Giants verterans, well respected team leaders, and very big motivators. Talent can be easily and quickly replaced. Respect and leadership takes time. This will definitely be a rebuilding season. And like you said, who are we kidding? It's the Giants. As a lifelong Giants fan, I've grown quiet accustom to that queasy feeling you get as you watch a sizeable lead dwindle to a deficit in the final minutes of the game. But I still love 'em. Go Blue! |

For some reason I don't see them being much of a factor this year, not sure why. |

New offensive minded coach, new solid veteran quarterback, new 1st round speedster on special teams. I see alot of similarities, except that Ted Ginn won't be taking handoffs, BUT the Fins have a top 5 defense and the Saints D was pretty thin. |
