Look at the blue circle I did report it, I dont know how they got my email unless they guessed it from my user ID

It can confuse you because the emails look authentic and they know what you are bidding on so they steal the pics and put them in the email I really thought I was dealing with the seller... western union gave it away

Its the seller that is doing it, he sends the email to you outside of eBay. Thats how they can scam without getting picked up by eBay and thats how they know your email, the exact product and product/invoice number, etc...

Actually, if you have the same or similar e-mail address to your username they will fuck you like that. If your eBay username is OTerror, and your e-mail address is OTerror at gmail, yahoo, or any of the others, they will mail you fake second chance offers if you don't win an auction, not to mention fake offers to complete the original transaction like you got.

I get like 8 spam emails a day about unpaid ebay items.

I'm sure they've managed to fuck over alot of people who just so happened to be buying something from ebay when they got the spam email.

yup..i get fake ebay emails all the time and when i put one of my watches for sale to see what it might be worth, I got a bunch of those 'escrow' company scams.
