Anyway to figure out what smtp server I should use?
I am sitting at best western and they seem to be using something I have no experience in tracking down info for

That 66.0.131.117 is owned by DELTACOM.NET incase that helps.
Aside from that the better alternative is to setup your own SMTP server to listen on a non-standard port. Sometimes even that isn't enough, though. Really a VPN is the only way to fly.
