Man Gets $218 Trillion Dollar Phone Bill

Damn, and I thought the $58,000 bill I got from Alltel last year was bad...

Quote:
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) - A Malaysian man said he nearly fainted when he recieved a $218 trillion phone bill and was ordered to pay up within 10 days or face prosecution, a newspaper reported Monday.

Yahaya Wahab said he disconnected his late father's phone line in January after he died and settled the 84 ringgit ($23) bill, the New Straits Times reported.

But Telekom Malaysia later sent him a 806,400,000,000,000.01 ringgit ($218 trillion) bill for recent telephone calls along with orders to settle within 10 days or face legal proceedings, the newspaper reported.

I was at Sam's the other day, and they told me I was approved for a credit line of $58,952,112.25 LOL
It was 58 Million, and something with the 25 cents on the end...I told them...cool...I'll just take the store.

The funny thing was the ladies couldn't really tell how much it was, I kept having to point out the fucking commas and decimal point, because they would all say..."No, it's only $5,800." Or 58K. But it actually showed I was approved for 58 million.

I don't get how people "almost faint" when they receive bills that are obviously mistakes or errors.

Ever try to deal with these people and their mistakes and errors?

had a friend who's license was put on hold in California saying he hadn't paid child support...it took him two years to get this settled.

They would shuffle him from department to department...one department would say "there is no hold on your license." Then another department would say, there is a hold, but that department that told you that you have no hold on your license has to release it.
