It should be interesting to see how the new Ustats compares but it's got its work cut out for it... especially in the support department compared to nifty stats.

Hey everyone...my usual thanks to a bunch of you for the nice words...and a Happy T-Day.

The deadline has admittedly stretched...and you haven't seen me around as much as you used to over the last year...but a lot of changes are in the works...starting with me. I will be around all of the time after the release of v2 and you are going to see new faces at the same time.

The company behind Unified has been growing due to the success of other projects. UnifiedStats is in need of an update (which I can truly promise you, is right around the corner)...but it has still remained amazingly steady over the last year. There are a significant number of webmasters using this application..and we feel there are more we can pull in and at the same time offer new and unique services to both programs and webmasters. We are very excited about this and we are really happy to be able to give the product the attention it deserves

A MUCH bigger push than even the initial launch is in the works. We see a lot of untapped potential with Unified...and now have the resources to invest much more into it.

What does this really mean? A new version, more support, and a framework that will scale into something more than just a place to view stats...and of course, a name you know you can trust, along with a price that literally can't be beat.

Thanks again,
John

:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

Ummm....then use StatsRemote if you want to pay for something. Unified Stats targets a different set of customers - webmasters not willing to pay for a stats program.

I've used Unified Stats for several years now, and think it's a great tool. Looking forward to the new version.

My biggest worry is the number of new programs it doesn't support, which makes it less useful lately

People said the same in 2005 when Unified Stats was first released. Guess what? Our member base more than tripled since Unified Stats was released and quite a few people that said we would be out of business shortly back in 2005 have been happy StatsRemote members for quite some time now :)

Now kind of the same is happening again with Nifty Stats as most people will never understand why programs like Unified Stats or Nifty Stats are not something I worry about :)

cranki 12-05-2007 06:23 AM

"early december" will be when? :)

DutchTeenCash 12-05-2007 07:14 AM

yeah maybe john can get in here again and do an update cause early november december or whatever is kinda now

go go go

Iron Fist 12-08-2007 02:22 PM

Tried all three... NS is what i'm sticking with right now... considering I don't do mainstream, I have no use for SR... thats the market they target and why they aren't worried...

I stopped using it and switched to Nifty Stats after TeenRevenue went to a "recurring sales" column and fucked up Unified Stats. That more than ANYTHING pissed me off. And to date... still not fixed... I seriously don't know if I'll ever try it back out, unless it does my dishes and cleans the toilet as well.

scottybuzz 12-09-2007 06:00 AM

im still holding out just because I like the layout and I am used to using it, but my word, juggcash, nscash, twistys, weconvert, playboywebmasters, pornmonkeycash , none of them work and it pisses me off.

but still its free so I cant be too mad, just hoping for the 2nd one.

cranki 12-10-2007 11:21 AM

mid-december approaches...

Agent 488 12-10-2007 11:24 AM

sucks but i still use it - nifty stats still reeks of a russian mob phishing scheme ..

rayzor 12-11-2007 06:01 PM

Yesterday I noticed for the first time the US2 notice on my screen. Seeing that it said coming in early December, I thought it was ready. I log in and download what I thought was the new version which was in fact the old version. Now my db is hosed! Like a dummy I didn't back up the db first.

Anyway, after doing a search on GFY, I learned about Nifty Stats and installed it. It functions and has most of my programs. The best part is the program setup. Took me like 15 to add in 50 programs. I didn't have to add in each program of a sponsor one by one. One username and pass added it all automatically. US1 took ages. Hopefully US2 is as easy. Only bad thing is the lack of a better overall reporting feature and email notifications.

Nifty will do until US2 comes out! :thumbsup

I've been using NS now for about a month and I love it, even though I've had an issue with my CCBill stats. That may also be the reason I'll stay with them simply because they have been on the ball trying to help me work out that issue.

I did us US for a while, but once I couldn't add newer sponsors or the fact that I couldn't get a handful of sponsors stats led me to try something else. I am waiting for the new version and will try it out, even though early December is quickly coming and going.

We should start a pot to see when it will actually be released. As of right now, I think it will come out sometime in January. I'll go ahead and guess January 10th. Anyone else want to venture a guess?
