i went into a bit more detail in the other thread. some versions of firefox might not get a popup or exit , especially if you have non default settings.

when i say non default i mean other programs you install may install plugins for firefox that may override your default settings. this is unavoidable

u mean as far as how much ? it really all depends on how you plan on using it..

normally i just share this stuff , but this one is a bit unique and can't just be cut and paste from the page , on a sponsor its going to require quite a bit of tweaking to get it right.. i'm not looking to really make any profit just to be paid for the time it takes to install. if you already have a coder who is comfortable doing it themselves then the fee would be around $100

This shouldn't work with Adblock or noscript or any other software that shuts off part of the javascript functions in FF. If it did work I would be kinda worried.

I have lots of neat little bits of regexp in my Adblock Plus list that doesn't shut down javascript, just popup/popunder windows.

the part for firefox is actually not a popup its a functionality of video files your blocking. many sites use this . manually editing special blocking codes will of course block this. you represent less people than vic-20's

There you go. And if someone will go through all that trouble, chances are the popup will just piss em off. Let em block it.

That's an impressive piece of annoying code, although I've never bought into the concept of pop-under advertising; if anything like that happens, and pisses me off, it's unlikely I'll reward such an annoyance by buying what it is advertising.
