Techies: Anyone here good with ie6 or icq?

I'm having two problems and I wondered if anyone here has ever had either and knows how to fix them.

1. In IE6 (on windows xp) I can't view the source on any page, and I cant right click on an image and save it. I have to switch over to netscape to do it.

2. In ICQ when someone sends me a message that has a url in it, or email, I don't ge the emessage.
If someone says "email me at [email protected]" I dont get it
but if someone says me at whatever . c o m then I do get it.

Anyone know how to fix either of these?

The first is an IE5 bug with your internet cache.. Delete your temporary internet files (not sure where that is in IE6) and it may go away.

The second could only be some sort of odd anti-spam setting in ICQ. My advice - ditch it and use trillian: http://www.trillian.cc

Cheers,

first one
You have had a virus and cleaned it not well. I had the same. The registry is fuckedup. Emptying the cach only solves the prob of saving pics wich will only be saved as bmp. The view source prob can only be solved by reinstalling windows.

second one
Its a bug in icq. Update it to the latest version.

I did clean out my temp files and that solved it for now...but who knows in a few days.
Yes when I try to save an image it wants to save it as a .bmp.

1) Reinstall IE
2) Add the person to your contact list.
