What do you use.. I see many don't have Google on their list and so forth. Would like a pinging utility or website that has the whole gamut.

The easiest, and most effective way to ping Google is to add your site's RSS feed as a site index. They've accepted those in lieu of custom XML for over a year.

For an outside, non-code ping, you can write your post to Ping-O-Matic's XML-RPC gateway, or use their website for the same.

Ping-O-Matic never really worked that well for me. I found it easier to just ping the services directly.

If you are looking for a more complete solution that includes backlink generation, check out http://www.bloggergenerator.com, BlogPingerPro is included in this package, although it's much less customizable than All Day Sucker.
