Sometimes I sit back and dream what the world would be like if the US brought their troops home from all like 60+ countries, stopped floating a shitload of nuclear subs around the world, stopped putting all their resources into military and "protecting resources".. Stopped economic sanctions when they don't get their way!
But honestly, the whole country would collapse. So what does that say about the system? It's clear the time since 9/11 has been lots of desperate moves. While we think it's crazy, we'll probably look back and understand why they were doing this - because their people would all be assfucked if they didn't. They're just putting off the inevitable I think.

Americans back America if they're doing it "for a reason" even if the reason is "top secret" and "we can't talk about it" and a nation of mothers with dead soldiers are left to SPECULATE on WHAT THEY FOUGHT FOR..

That's one of the biggest travesties of all this. Do you really think they'd get this mad over pop stars? Why have no celebrities been killed?
They're mad because of the last 50+ years of foreign policy. It's not hard to follow the timeline. They want to be left alone, and have lots of decades to think back and be angry about. The same way America has rednecks teaching their kids to be racist and ignorant (which, by the way is sold on TV as entertainment) they have people instilling hatred as well.
