Yeah it's often super slow. I'd bet that if they did some simple MySQL optimizations
liek we did for Netpond it would really improve. Funny how a lot of people will spend
ten grand on servers and not $100 on having someone who knows what they are doing
tweak the database and the RDMS. That seems to be true across the industry, though,
no one stops to think that some of the busiest sites used to run fine on 500MHz processors
with 256MB of RAM back a few years ago before they started using some new software,
so perhaps they should look at the software.

dude GFY is slow as hell and often crashes... most bigger message boards don't have this problem.

GFY beeing slow like that is pretty much the reason why I never considered using Jupiter Hosting. It just dosen't make sence that a website making a such ammount of money isn't ran proprely.
