No the French didn't collaborate, if I recall US history correctly Ben Franklin was sent as a US diplomat to France during the US war for independence and it took nearly 3 years before he could convince the French to come help. This does not negate the fact that the French did help the US but they waited until the US army turned the tide of the war and showed the possibility of defeating the British

There was no european undertones by the thread starter, just FRANCE.


You cant explain why FRANCE is cooler, you deviate from this and bring up other countries and other reasons that don't correspond to the topic.
