Someone hacked Labret's site and put up a really ugly, "this is my first time using frontpage" type of page about McDonald's??

I'm Sleazy's brother, it's late, I'm sure Sleazy will have his own WTF statement when he wakes up, but I'll get my two cents in here:

#1 Labret, you're not that important. Nobody gives a shit about you, especially Sleazy. Trust me.

#2 Sleazy is about capable of doing something like this as building an atom bomb in his basement... or maybe winning a Mr. Universe Bodybuilding competition. You've got the wrong guy.

#3 You said this is a "friend's" server? How would Sleazy know you would see it? I'd bet Sleazy doesn't even know what sites you run (or care... see #1), never mind sites your friends run.

The simplest explanation:
You mention that whatever this was really got to you... it implies the perpetrator knew what would push your buttons. Assuming the ability to hack a server must be rare (as webmasters we all hope it's rare)... I suggest you look at your 'friend' as suspect #1. Someone's pulled a good one on you.
