LA hotel recommendations

I have a client that is coming to LA, with meetings in downtown and Beverly Hills.

Being a beach guy, I really don't know what hotels to suggest that would be convenient for people traveling to both locations.

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

Can't go wrong with the W in Westwood or my old favortites The Four Seasons on Doheny and the Sunset Marquis

I also love Le Montrose in WEHO

The Standard on Sunset is fun and reasonable.

The Venice Beach House is a nice little bed and breakfast right on Venice. I stay there often if they are into more of a bed and breakfast type place.

Venice is not central to downtown and Beverly Hills.
