Does anyone regularly take wheatgrass tablets, powder, juice?

how do you like it? Does it give you a lot of energy?

I know people who do but it goes with a complete healthy lifestyle. i.e. exercise, good diet etc.

I personally exercise, run and cut out soda and eat very healthy and that alone gives me a ton of energy all day long.

Now if I could only give up Guinness... Never!

My ex started serving that crap (the liquid shots) at one of his gyms awhile back. Man it's awful.

it is bullshit the human stomach doesnt have the capabilites to get the nutrients from grass.

Drank a shot of Wheat Grass at Jamba Juice one time and spent the next 3 hrs trying not to puke. Nothing I tried could get that nasty ass taste out of my mouth.

My experience is that the stuff works.

I used to occasionally take a shot before a long day of brewing. Working in a solarium, lifting sacks of grain, stirring in 7 barrels of mash, etc...

Coulda been psycho-somatic, I guess, but I don't thnk so. I seemed to have more energy on the days I took a wheat-grass shot when compared to the days I didn't.

I also never drank coffee. I imagine caffeine might affect the perceived energy gain.

I dunno... I wouldn't want to gargle the stuff, but I don't think it tastes all that bad.

It just tastes like clean-cut grass smells to me.

And, at Jamba Juice, it comes with a slice of orange to cleanse the palate.
