LA Man Charged With Obscenity And 2257 Violations

Ira Isaacs, 56, has been charged with four counts of selling and distributing "obscene" DVDs via the internet, two counts of using a "common carrier" to distribute "obscene" DVDs, and two counts of failing to label sexually explicit DVDs in accordance with 2257 regulations. Each count carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison.

"There might have been an inadvertent foul-up with respect to labeling," Diamond said. "They're all adults."

Diamond acknowledged the videos in question as extreme,. A web search for Stolen Car Films turns up several links discussing Japanese scat videos; the website StolenCarFilms.com does not publicly display titles or images.

More indictments. Seems to me I'm noticing a common trend, if I'm not mistaken all of the indictments we've seen so far have been for producers that make watersports/scat videos or bestiality videos.

Yeah, scat movies are gross and filthy and disturbing but if people like me and Boyalley like that stuff then so fucking what? Nobody is hurt and no damage is done while shooting or watching these kind of movies. I dont get it. Why dont they spend their time and energy on more important things like cutting of Russia from the internet.

Funny thing is someone has to review all those movies hehe. Do they play that shit in court as well?

They got him on the Obscenity, the 2257 was thrown in like a cherry on top of the sundae. They can say we will go after mainstream porn but they know they cant get a conviction so they go after the extreme stuff.

The U.S. government has just passed a new law making it illegal to deficate. They consider it to be obscene and any person caught doing it will be jailed.

(just because some people are interested in a repulsive but natural process should "the government" have the power to run their lives??)

Scat and watersports is a pretty easy target for obscenity charges, because it is pretty easy to find 12 jurors to put in a box that would be disgusted watching some girl eat a guy's shit.

It would also be pretty easy to get 12 jurors to find a guy urinating into a girl's mouth as pretty disgusting as well.

I personally don't have a problem with those things being considered obscene.

Your case in not the same, scat has been considered obscene for a long long time. This isnt something new.People want to make the big taboo(scat,beastality,rape) money got to be prepared to do the time. This isnt the first scat arrest, with scat there is nothing grey.

How can I say this? The nature of democracy isn't absolute and unlimited freedom. US law has created a thing called "obscenity" and the courts and such have come down to using a "community standard" test to judge if something is obscene or not.

50 years ago, playboy magazine was all but obscene, and that was the version with just cleavage and legs. Now you get more exposure in a Cosmo magazine. Times change and things move.

Over the last 35 years or so, much of what would have been oscene (including deep throating) has become generally accepted by modern society. As time goes on, more and more becomes acceptable, the public becomes desensitized, and more and more things become mainstream.

A couple of years ago some guy did an interview on CNN wearing a T-shirt that said "GOATSE" on it, they apparently didn't know what it meant.

At some point, when a line is drawn, everything on THIS side of the line by nature will be considered acceptable, and that would help to make our businesses more legitimate. Shit out, cumshots in, watersports out, anal sex in, etc. Draw a line somewhere, and the risk factors in porn would drop dramatically.

Without some sort of judgement one way or the other, we are all flying blind because nobody knows where the line is.

Imagine they take him to court and they find him not guilty. All of a sudden, everything up to and including scat is no longer obscene. Par-tay!

I would hate to be the test case, but the judgement is important.
