Hey Bods...Can I borrow $140?

I need to start doing it more. I usually say no receipt because of the line of impatient middle aged women behind me. They are the worst. They start to sigh and breath all heavy.

i had this exact same thing happen ..

what prob happened ( at least for me anyways )

is the atm was low on funds , so what they do is attempt to "put the money back" . its kind of a scam because they get to sit on the cash until it gets back to you ( 2 months for me )

lets say you want to get out $400 , it goes and tells your bank to give the atm $400 , but the atm is set to only dispense a certain amount because its low on funds. but instead of simply cancelling the trasaction and saying the atm is limited , they take the $400 give you $140 then try and put back $260 .. because of the way epassporte works you cant load funds that way so the money cant get put back "in" the account it can only be taken out.

so you will have to wait and talk to epassporte..

the silly thing is when it happened to me someone else right after me took out $100 and didnt have a problem so the atm isnt "out" of cash it simply is "low" so it wants to give everyone a little instead of a few people what they asked for.

p.s. the first time i called epassporte , they said " its not out problem its the bank's problem" and of course when i went into the bank they said " its not our problem its your credit cards problem "

BofA has those new ATM's here in SD and they are always messing shit up. I now get a receipt for everything I do at them. Love it when they try and blame me and then...BAM...bust out the receipt and they get all apologetic!
