It should also serve as a lesson to everyone that they should read an entire drame thread before commenting. Although Sleazy started in the gutter with very negative comments and bold accusations directed towards Lisa, I commend him for ultimately deciding to take the high road, and apologizing to Lisa.
I've been told by mutual acquaintances that Scott (Sleazy) feels like he has to live up to his GFY board persona, so he frequently states things that they claim are out of character with the person he really is. I guess this is an example of that. I believe in compassion and reconcilliation, and try to adhere to the principal of, "To err is human, to forgive is divine." If he is sincere (and not simply covering his ass legally), then I think what he has done is a good thing. Let's see if Mike Hawk and Ycaza can similarily seek redemption by apologizing to Lisa (in the absence of anything that resembles hard proof that she did anything wrong). ADG |
