My guess is that this content was probably ripped from TeenStarsMagazine and was being linked to the PPC search engine. Whoever ripped the site used the stolen CC, made his quick cash with the PPC search engine and when it became apparent the CC was stolen he switched it out to the actual paysite he ripped it from. This is likely why the affiliate program owner had no spike in traffic or sales, the traffic in reality went to the PPC search engine.

I think you should be contacting whoever owns topadult10.com and pass on that affiliate ID and trace who owns that account, that's likely the culprit. It seems that TeenStarsMagazine isn't actually the one who did this.

    Hope this helps...

You'll also notice if you go to the root page of the server (http://www.onlyteenfiles.com/), the same affiliate code is being used:

        http://www.lookuplive.com/search.php?aid=71655&q=porno

Seems this guy is ripping sites off and linking his traffic to pay per click search engines. Trace that affiliate ID (71655) to the ppc vendor and I'll bet you'll have the thief.

Mark really has turn into a huge douche since 2007 rolled in. The way he treated Nysus back in the day really was some foreshadowing of things to come.

You're probably going to be getting a pretty lame and half assed apology pretty soon. You might even get messaged on ICQ by someone telling you that you are a BRO now.

I'd hire an attorney if I were you.

For the future DrinkingHard you can put a system in place that prevents this sort of thing happening. Its a relatively easy thing to do rather than relie on other sites that look at cached history such as the one WG pointed out.

Your system should keep a log of not only the url to send to but the last time the target page was updated along with a page capture of the updated pages of your clients. You can ping for an update by the hour, by the minute or by the day however you like.

I am really surprised you did not have that in place, if you had this would have had never happened and someone would be in jail for credit card fraud already.

When I click through to topadult10.com I see a header with bare boobs and a single result:

                  Forum for Aussie Parents
Great advice and tips on parenting Pregnancy, toddlers, schooling.
                  Kidspot.com.au

What the... this is an ADULT SEARCH ENGINE right?

With results like this the scammer may have not been making as much as we thought.

You are so much better playing Inspector Clouseau as me. I checked google caches which probably update faster then Alexa caches. I did see the suspicious link on the index but did not come to the right conclusion.

I used to get sometimes to topadult10.com from google blackhat results

they are simply everywhere, seo, tgps, emails, bbs, now even cheating paid traffic sources.
As biskoppen wrote somewhere else, they are biggest affiliaters in adult for sure and none care....

Here's a post DrinkingHardest made on another forum. He flat out calls them criminals then asks for their program to be shutdown.

Disgusting. If the BROs had been left to their own devices, this poor guy woulda been fucked hardcore in the ass without lube. And as a gay homosexual that can speak from personal experience, let me tell ya, that hurts!

We Just Got Fucked For $16,000 By Teen Mega Cash

They bought ads from us using a stolen credit card under the name of "Mark Hartley' and sent in a signed authorization form and a front and back of the credit card. Here is an example of a gallery that was sent in for a paid top spot. BTW they are a ccbill program...

Any help getting to these guys and shutting them down would be appreciated!
I just don't think you can simply "apologize" for a post like this.

                            "Sarah - GTS ‎(1.35):
fine we will just ruin your reputation and ban your program from all of our traffic sources"

What a cunt. Only reputation being ruined is yours.

Doesn't this open them up even more to a lawsuit?

I actually got lucky, it wasn't in the Google cache, Archive.org, or Altavista. If Alexa didn't cache it, I wouldn't have found it. The webmaster who did this was hoping he'd do his scam as fast as possible and no sites would have stored it in their cache so fast.

Its definitely worth implementing a snapshop system on galleries to make sure anyone who does link switching doesn't try this again. The webmaster who did this seems to have tried the old bait and switch and at the expense of it, put a new webmaster program at risk.
