Anyone going to teh San Diego Comicon?

Hey, I was wondering how many of people are also big geeks. I'm enough of a geek to be willing to drive down from Orange County.
I'll be there saturday. I've got to see the web comic zone. It's like some kind of Mecca, I'll go to pay respects and load up on Topatoco t-shirts. Who else is going, what's your draw?

It's the biggest comic book convention, but seems to have expanded to all things geek. comicon.com. I assumed there are probably a lot of big geeks in the online adult world. I think something like 80,000 people show up, but that was a couple years ago.

I went 8 years in a row but have missed the last 3 years and looks like I will miss this year too. Hopefully next year.

Seriously, I'd love to see what you dress up as with your style.

I'd love to go, haven't been to a comiccon in years...then again down here I can't even find a single comic book store in the entire country

Back when I was 17 though I was manager of a comic book shop - great job, hang out all dya reading comics and being paid cash weekly

That sounds like a very chill job, working in a comic book store. I don't know if it beats the excitement of promoting anatomically correct horse cocks, but it would definitely be a relaxing lifestyle.
I haven't been in two or three years. Last time I gave blood and then got all of the webcomic artists that I'm a fan of to sign that shirt. I've got everyone from Penny Arcade to Bob the Angry Flower. I haven't worn the shirt, I assume that it now has magic powers of creativity.
