Dexter's first series is the best I have seen in a while. I am really looking forward to the second season but I will wait for it to be properly shown.

I am just watching Oz for the first time and really enjoying it. I am on the 4th season and it has finally gotten fully into its stride.

The Wire, for sure.

I dig Entourage because it's good T.V. that both my girlfriend and I can get into.

I'd say "Deadwood," but that'd be about as topical as saying "Six Feet Under" (best series finale ever, imho - provided you've watched the series) these days.

If you're just looking for DVD's to watch, though, you must add those to your list.

Battlestar Galactica's fantastic, as well, provided Science Fiction doesn't totally turn you off.

pretty much anything HBO puts out I really dig. Just got done watching season one of the wire and really dug it. Watching John From Cincinnati now and really dig that as well. Big Love is just awesome too.

I'm a big fan of anything on HBO ( Big Love , Entourage , Rome , etc ) except for John In Cincinnati. I couldn't get into that show. Ed O'Neil's character is driving me crazy. He needs to be sitting on the couch with his hand down his pants, but kudos for him in a major series again I guess.

Showtime is starting to step it up. I haven't seen Dexter or Weeds yet, but I've heard only good things about those shows.

I really got into The Tudors this first season.

The new series coming out next month on Showtime looks SWEET.

FOX FX has the good stuff too
Rescue Me and I haven't watched the Shield but think i'm going to rent those on DVD and plow through the seasons in a weekend or something.
