I was just thinking about some of the sayings and phrases and places that i remember school fights occuring at as a kid.

I remember what it was for us.... it was the Rez... The Water Resevoir that was in the untouchable zone "off school property"

It was where kids would meet and fight. Usually it was at "3:05" as in five minutes after school ended...

I also remember some of the fights. I remember seeing one kid take off another kids glassed after he beat him up and STOMP on them. SOme of the shit that went on was horrible!

Shit kids are motherfuckers.

Does this kind of stuff even happen today? Or is it all guns and shootouts? Anyone hear of any neighbourhood fights recently that didn't end with the cops? or someone dead?

The Stumps -- a little forested area at the outskirts of the football field. Called the Stumps because there are a lot of tree stumps there.

The worst fight I had in school was in the principals office. I drew 2 months detention for it after my 3 day suspension.

My last quarter of my last year in high school was perfect..... perfect attendance, perfect (well.... passing) grades.... no trouble whatsoever.... no smoke.... nothin'..... absolute model student.....

cuz they told me if I fucked up ONE MORE TIME..... it was all over. So,... didn't really have a choice.

I got suspended like 3 or 4 times in elementary school for fighting.
I was a skinny little dirt faced po' kid (couldn't affored the 'or'), with hand-me-down rags and a big attitude.

I gotta find some pictures of me from back then ~ total freakin' riot. Like the 'save the children' foundation commercials n stuff

In LA it was all over. football field, autoshop, in the hall way.

Guns,hammers,bricks and fists i've seen it all.

I've been shot at and had a gun pointed at my head twice.
and some other crazy shit.

But I look back at those days and it was lame most of the friends i grew up with are either in jail or dead. a few have been succesfull

i dont ever remember "meeting" for a fight, if shit hit the fan it happened then and there. the winner was the one who got away from the cops in school. most nyc high schools have metal detectors and x-ray machines, but i remember one black dude shot some guy for talking to his gf. didnt kill him, but it turns out he was new at the school and was just asking her directions to a class. gotta love nyc.

Football games. I was on the football team as a freshman, and had to quit because of my back. The coach didn't like it. Every time I showed up to watch a game with friends, one or more of the Varsity players would try to kick my ass.

How did I survive?

Hint: exploding gel caps filled with potassium nitrate and phosporus make jocks very nervous.

Hint #2: try this today and they'll try to nail you with terrorism.

Heh...the memories. In elementary school I was "the 3rd toughest" kid in school. That was pretty good for a 3rd grader. Seriously there were rankings. And I had no chance of getting any higher. The two ahead of me were huge fat kids who could pummel you with one hit.

We used to fuck kids up right on the school grounds...just after school. Course, there was a huge field at my school. I mean HUGE.

we used to cruise the "1 ways" in high school... looking for fights and CHICKS. Never got laid of course but got in a lot of fights. The fights always took place in peoples yards at the 1 way turn arounds.

I didnt get along well with others so I get shipped off to the "alternative school". Meaning pregnant teens and juvenile delinquents. It was the best 2 years of my life.

School with no jocks, fratboys in training, or sorority girls, and all the girls were grade A sluts.

Everyone at my school thought I was a devil worshipping psycho, so they left me be...never had to fight...but one guy did try to fuck ith me, so the next night I chased him down the street with a chainsaw (there was no chain on it, but he wasn't going to slow down enough to see)...though if I would have caught him, I would have probably beat his fucking head in with the chainsaw.....

I was a peace loving hippy in high school ... don't think I had a fight my last three years there. Had a bunch of them the first two years of Jr. High (which included Freshman year). We would meet at the bike rack, and then fight in the woods behind there. Beat the shit out of this kid there one Friday afternoon over some skank, who got his brother to jump me coming out of the ice skating rink that Saturday night. We fought for about an hour solid. My old man drove a gold Chevy Impala back then, which looked exactly like a cop car. He came looking for me when I was late, and when they saw him, he and his buddies took off running (well, his buddies took of dragging his ass. I made it to the car, but the old man had to help me into the house. Met up with the guy in the hospital ER early the next morning, when BOTH eyes swelled shut. Cops spent a couple of hours trying to get us to tell who the fight had been with; neither one of us would narc, and we ended up as friends.
