So i step off the plane from vegas (mind you i slept a total of 4 hours in 4 days) & get a call from tree as I'm walking to my parking deck. He's up at his pimp ass lake house, boats in the water & ready to fish.
So i drive to my crib in d.c., take the clothes out of my bag, throw them into the washer, grab a shower... take a 20 minute nap.
Now im back in the car, 3 hour trip... I show up, tree's got a fever of 100, & I'm damn near hallucinating from lack of sleep, but we both rock it down to his dock & get our rods in the water. Start a bonfire, crack open some Heineken's, his girlfriend even roasted us some ballparks/sandwich's as we sit waiting for our dinner, like the hardcore fishing fanatics we are.
Anyways heres the end result!
Total end catch was 3 fish total around 9-10lbs (before they got knifed into pan-size filet's). You'll notice the wooden board with a catfish head on the left bottom picture. If you've ever had a real catfish filet (most people haven't its all farm raised these days), theres only one way to properly do it....you nail their head to a board, slice the skin behind the gills, then peel off their skin in one fluid motion with a pair of pliers.
