    Why are webmasters so fucking stupid

    I have a directory that I use to send people traffic. It says in bold letters what is necessary in order to get accepted into the directory, yet i still get a ton of submissions that dont use the correct anchor among other things.

              If not ...

              Ours is an industry with very few standards of practice with conflicting, and sometimes confusing termonology. I assume most anyone in your end of the biz would have the daily task of weeding out the unacceptable - or spending time adjusting the sign up process to better idiot-proof the system.

              I'm a pretty smart cookie w/ 100s of sign ups under my belt .. and I've found many a webmaster area so poorly written, or difficult to navigate, it is very easy to make an error - or in my case, pass it on by.

                      with stuff like that... hell even if the gallery doesn't look right and there is a link... I don't accept it, but I don't let them know if it's a person that is always fucking up submits. If it's someone that generally submits and has good work I give a heads up...otherwise I just take the in bound link.

                          I think its because a lot of webmasters don't know what they are doing. Its more of a unemployed, money attempt.

                              Hell, i've had galleries denied just because it happens to be the same sponsor the tgp i'm submitting to uses for their FHGs. How stupid is that? If you don't want submits, then just run a fake TGP and stop letting people submit.

                              It's not webmasters who are stupid, but the site owners who are just as stupid as well.

                                  Waste of time and energy...

                                  Apart from obvious real/serious webmasters - my attitude has changed totally on this. In the past I spent time helping webmasters. After seeing the level of total stupidity and lazyness - they generally don't qualify for help and are a total waste of time. Many don't even operate what can be called a business and would be incapable even if that opportunity arose.

                                  Unfortunately the net gave freedom for any weeds to grow - it's a matter of clearing these weeds to see the trees.

                                                                          You know just a thought and I'd guess you have considered it, but your recip is just the word "Porn" with an href to your root of your domain. Maybe other site reviewers are rejecting the submissions that contain your link because it's 100% blind link. And thats why people are editing it.
