Have you ever been in a Typhoon?
What's it like? Does it fuck your shit up? Anybody get hurt, things destroyed, or does it feel like a bad thunderstorm? And what about the eye... anybody ever been in one of those and is it cool?

How can it be the same thing? When hurricanes hit here they seem like a big deal and people flea their homes.

The noun "cyclone" refers to such storms' cyclonic nature, with counterclockwise rotation in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise rotation in the Southern Hemisphere.
