...for a much needed vacation tomorrow...

After I get a little rest before the big roadtrip tomorrow, I'm gassing up the car, getting a few last minute things together and heading for Utah and then Wyoming...

I'm going on a mountain climbing/hiking vacation...getting away from civilization and living primitively.

I won't be online, but have my treo and will head down to the base camp where I'll have cell coverage and check support emails from there.

I'll be sure to get lots of pictures as I tackle the Grand Teton Mountains

Have fun and be safe! And make sure you leave someone your complete intinierary in case something happens to you and the SAR needs to be called in.

I'm always a safe climber. My father is a hunting/tour guide in the area, so knows it well, but also knows to always file a very explicit itinerary.

I've been working out to improve my cardio and am going to do some shorter climbs the first day or two and build myself back up to the bigger climbs.

Lucky you. I haven't been able to get away like that in over a year. Last place I went was Havasupai Falls. I definetely recommend if youre in Northeran AZ.

looks amazing...I'll have to check it one day...since I'm in Southern nevada, I can probably pop up for a weekend. I love going to Zion National Park too...
