Why are Christians so unChrist-like?

The Rev. Flip Benham of Operation Rescue said the three did not plan to protest Zed but happened to be in the public gallery after coming to Washington to lobby against proposed hate crimes legislation. He said they recited the First Commandment, which begins "Thou shalt have no other gods before me," and said Christian prayers.

"It was a shocking event for all of us Christians," Benham said. "For all of these years we have honored the God of our Founding Fathers. It wasn't a group of Hindus, Buddhists or Muslims that came here. It was Christians."

A spokeswoman for the U.S. Capitol Police identified the three protesters as Ante Nedlko Pavkovic, Katherine Lynn Pavkovic and Christan Renee Sugar.

It's not a christian nation, many of the founding fathers including George Washington were athiests. Just because a lot of christians live there doesn't make it a religious state, they even wrote a constitution to separate that.

TRY is the key word... Travelling the world to push your culture and religion on other people in hopes to secure your spot in the afterlife is not creating change for the good of mankind. Christians have been annexing entire cultures through violent and more manipulative methods throughout the course of that religions history.

Most parts of christianity are ripped off from other religions as well. Hell, christmas isn't even a christian holiday. It was ripped off from the Pagan's while the christians were trying to find an easier way to convert them.

Religions are just big cults... designed to lure in people and provide power to those at the top.

well consider that overseas that people judge americans based on a few movie stars or presidents - not sure you would appreciate being grouped in with certain americans now would you?

same as 'christians'. not all of them are crazy like this, in fact all the ones I know are relatively sane and helpful - even when I needed help around the house to learn a few things like my pump or other things I had no clue on, the neighbor who was a christian came over on his day off as soon as he heard and fixed it for me. not once preaching, just showing me how it all works. Im glad for the christians I know who help without asking anything in return

They only want CHRISTAIN people to give the daily prayer which CLEARLY violates the Constitution.
