Thoughts.

I have a BAD cold. Deep cough. sweats, get very tired, etc.
been many days now.

why does everyone say I HAVE to goto the DR for a fuckign cold.

all they do is offer drugs.

On drugs I get better in a week. Without them I get better in 7 days.

I don't like going to the DR - even though my Dr is actually one of my bext friends.

thoughts? should I goto the Dr for a fuckign cold or tough it out?

eat garlic and onion (well you can combine it with other food also :D).
best natural way to treat cold.

it doesn't seem to make any difference. But imho you can better tough it out.

If you take medicines your body gets used to it and will get depended on them. Your body will produce lesser natural anti-dotes.

Went to the doctor for a bad sore throat today... but Asian doctors don't like to give strong medicine so I got some weak antibiotics which most likely won't help me.

I say go get some penicillin if you can't stand it

If you have green or yellow phlem, its a bacteria other than a cold. In that case antibiotics from the doctor get rid of it within a few days. If u just feel stuffy and gross and no major symptoms, I would just take Airborne and Nyquil if I were u. that always works 4 me. However, if ur Dr. is ur best friend, then he/she should give u free drugs!

yeah i just had a cold/flu this week and everyone told me to go to the doc.

i just kept my fluids up, ate well and took some paracetamol

he does give me free samples of anything i want and as much as i want but i'm canadian so drugs are free here anyways

antibiotics are the largest abused drugs in the world

atleast if you do go and get them, take the whole script, don't stop half way through when you start feeling better.

that just makes the germs more immune

if it's a virus there is nothing that will cure it anyways, if you ask your doc he will tell you that, they just prescribe antibiotics so you feel like they are earning their money

if you have a bad cough and sore throat get some vicodin or codien or something like that

Go to the Dr., but more than likely it is a virus and there is not much you can do for it except vitamins, humidity/ mist, and rest.

Scott, I had a deep cough years ago that had me eventually coughing up blood. I was hospitalized for almost a week. I had Pneumonia!

They wanted to keep me longer, but I was going stir crazy. Moral of the story, if it gets worse, seek medical attention.
